THE SHORT VERSION
Privacy is part of the product experience.
Good After Dark (“Good After Dark,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this United States online store. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, customer accounts, checkout, support channels, and related services; why we use it; and the choices available to you.
We collect what the store needs
Account, contact, order, delivery, support, device, and shopping-session information are used to operate and protect the service.
Card details stay with the payment provider
Checkout uses a hosted payment flow. Good After Dark does not receive or store your complete payment-card number or security code.
We do not sell your personal information
As of the date of this Policy, we do not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The categories depend on how you use the store.
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers and contact details | Name, email address, account username, shipping and billing address, and order reference. | Directly from you when you register, order, or contact us. |
| Account and authentication data | Password hash, account preferences, saved products, cart contents, and sign-in records. We cannot see your plain-text password. | From you and automatically from the account service. |
| Commercial information | Products viewed, saved, placed in a cart, ordered, returned, or refunded; transaction amount; and order status. | From your activity and our order records. |
| Payment-related information | Payment status, provider transaction reference, payment method type, and limited card details the provider may return, such as brand and last four digits. | From our hosted payment provider. Complete card numbers and security codes are handled by that provider, not this website. |
| Internet and device activity | IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages requested, timestamps, cookie identifiers, and security logs. | Automatically from your browser, WordPress, WooCommerce, hosting, and security systems. |
| Customer-support information | Message content, topic, email address, optional order reference, and any information you choose to include. | Directly from you through our private contact form. |
| Community-room information | Messages, generated public alias, reports, moderation status, account identifier, and message timestamps. Other signed-in members see the alias, message, and time—not your account name, email, billing details, or orders. | From you when you enter or use the member community room and from members who submit reports. |
| Inferences you choose to create | Saved products and shopping preferences may indicate interests in particular sexual-wellness categories. | From your choices on the site. We do not use these interests to make medical diagnoses. |
We ask that you not send passwords, complete payment-card information, government identification numbers, medical records, or intimate photographs through the contact form.

COOKIES & SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Necessary cookies keep accounts and carts working.
WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies and similar storage to maintain sessions, authenticate accounts, preserve carts, provide security, and remember choices. These technologies are necessary for requested store functions. At the date of this Policy, Good After Dark does not use behavioral-advertising cookies and does not run a program that sells or shares cookie data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this Policy and any legally required consent or opt-out controls must be updated before those technologies are activated. You may limit cookies through browser controls, but blocking necessary cookies can prevent account, cart, and checkout functions from working.
WHEN INFORMATION IS DISCLOSED
We disclose information to operate the store, not to expose your interests.
Service providers
Hosting, website infrastructure, fraud prevention, customer support, data storage, and technical vendors receive only the information needed to provide services to us.
Payment, fulfillment, and delivery
Payment providers, warehouses, suppliers when direct fulfillment is used, and carriers receive transaction or delivery data needed to complete an order.
Professional and legal recipients
Advisers, auditors, insurers, regulators, courts, or law enforcement may receive information when reasonably necessary and legally permitted or required.
Business transactions
Information may be reviewed or transferred in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and applicable law.
We do not disclose purchase details in public account pages, and our shipping standard uses neutral external packaging. Third parties process information under their own legal obligations and privacy notices where applicable.
RETENTION & SECURITY
Keep it only as long as the purpose reasonably requires.
Retention varies by record. Account information is generally retained while an account remains active; orders and transaction records may be retained longer for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, warranty, chargeback, and legal requirements; support and privacy-request records are retained long enough to resolve and document the request. Community messages and moderation records are retained while reasonably needed to provide conversation history, enforce the room code, investigate reports, prevent repeated abuse, and address legal or safety concerns. Removing a message hides it from the room but may not immediately erase associated moderation or backup records. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to backup cycles and legal obligations.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information, including access controls, password hashing, hosted payment collection, and limited administrative access. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES
State law may give you specific rights.
Depending on where you live and which law applies to Good After Dark, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of certain personal information. You may also have rights to opt out of a sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, and to appeal a denied request.
Good After Dark does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not offer financial incentives for personal information. If these practices change, we will provide the notices and opt-out methods required by applicable law, including recognition of qualifying browser-based opt-out signals where required.
- Submit a requestUse the private contact form, choose “Privacy request,” and describe the right you want to exercise.
- VerificationWe may verify your email, account, recent order details, or other information reasonably necessary to protect the account. Do not send government ID unless we specifically explain why it is required.
- Authorized agentsWhere permitted, an authorized agent may submit a request. We may require proof of authority and direct verification with the consumer.
- No discriminationWe will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
We may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, such as when information must be retained for security, fraud prevention, transaction completion, legal compliance, or another recognized exception. If an appeal right applies, reply through the contact form and state that you are appealing a privacy decision.
